Because road racing can involve riding in such a diverse range of conditions, top level road racers put the greatest of demands on their tyres. Sometimes it is better to have specific tyres on each wheel to satisfy these demands and to maximize tyre performance. That is why we have used different compounds in this new tyre set, along with different tyre construction and even different sizing, all to provide the best possible performance from a set of road racing bicycle tyres.
GP Attack
Offers a new, sticky tread compound to provide even better grip in both wet & dry conditions
The 22mm tread width is perfect for front wheel use. Narrow enough to reduce wind drag, yet wide enough to provide secure grip, good puncture protection & low rolling resistance
Provides one anti-puncture belt under the tread (see picture)
The front wheel partner to the GP Force
4 polyamide casing belts / 370 threads per inch
GP Force
On the rear, you'll want a strong, lightweight tyre to force your power through to the road.
A long lasting tread centre improves longevity of the tyre. The Force provides many miles in the heat of competition
Includes two anti-puncture belts under the tread (see picture), necessary for the added stresses applied to the rear wheel, compared to the front wheel. This tyre has a 23mm section which is the optimum width for rear use; wide enough to supply great grip, good puncture resistance and low rolling resistance yet narrow enough to keep weight low and ensure a responsive ride
