Tektro CR520 brakeset is a similar design to the traditional Froggleg brakeset, in comparison it has the same length cantilever arms and therefore offers the same leverage and power. It is superior to frogglegs in terms of adjustability and ease of setting up due to the variable camber on the brakepads. We recommend this brakeset for both cyclocross and touring bikes, particularly if you need to change brake pads mid way through a cycle tour without workshop facilities
This is a full set (Front and rear) in Shiny Silver, they are complete with springs , straddle, cables,bolts,straddle hangers.
We are offering an optional high performance cartridge pad upgrade for this brakeset (tektro part no: 878.12). Future pad changes are less expensive as only the inserts need to be purchased (tektro part no:878.11d)
The optional high performance cartridge pad upgrade is at additional cost. Please note, it is an OE brakeset so the item is not boxed and you receive exactly what is in the picture.
